Please include your device and OS version, the Xana version (Settings › General › About), the server type (for example Emby 4.8), and the steps or a screenshot.

Purchases and refunds

App Store refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Cancel a subscription any time in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions. To restore: Settings › General › Xana Pro › Restore Purchases.

Can’t connect to a server

  • Open the server address in a browser on the same device to check the address, port, and account.
  • Jellyfin and Emby addresses usually look like http://192.168.1.20:8096. For Plex, sign in with a plex.tv link code.
  • On iPhone, iPad, and Mac, allow Local Network access when asked. If you declined, turn it on in System Settings › Privacy & Security › Local Network.
  • For SMB, make sure the NAS has SMB2 or later enabled.

Playback fails, black screen, or stutters

  • Turn off Hardware decoding in Settings › Video and try again.
  • 4K or high-bitrate files over a remote connection may need more bandwidth; test on your local network first.
  • If it still fails, send us the file format and codecs, ideally with a screenshot of the player’s Stats panel.

Subtitles

  • Switch subtitle tracks with the subtitle button on the control bar.
  • Out of sync: adjust delay in the subtitle menu. Size, colour, and position are in Settings › Subtitles.
  • Online subtitles (Pro) need your OpenSubtitles API key in Settings.

TV boxes

  • See the install notes.
  • Use the D-pad to move, OK to open, Back to go back. If a control can’t be reached with the remote, tell us the box model.

Pro and activation codes

  • iPhone, iPad, Mac: one purchase per Apple Account. Tap Restore Purchases on a new device.
  • Android: paste the code in Settings › General › Xana Pro.

Installing, connecting to your own servers, playback settings, subtitles, and purchases. Xana does not provide content, and we cannot help find streams or accounts or get around a server’s access control.
